Workshop: Plant Biotech Pop-Up Lab: clone your own cultures!

Excited about CRISPR and the future of plant biotech but don’t know where to start? The core of plant genetic engineering and biotech is plant tissue culture. Without this vital skill, no amount of genetic wizardry would function. In this workshop you’ll get a chance to prepare your own tobacco tissue culture and witness somatic embryogenesis first hand. Along with your culture, seeds will also be provided so you can replicate the whole experiment at home.
