Christine is the Founder of Thought For Food (TFF) and is Head of Next Generation Engagement at Syngenta. In 2011, she created TFF to inspire, connect and empower the next generation of innovators to create breakthrough solutions for food security. Ever since, TFF movement has tripled in size, and now comprises over 3000 university students from 51 countries. As an intrapreneur at Syngenta, she is obsessed with finding ways to make agricultural innovation more open and collaborative. She has worked on transformative initiatives to shape the seed and biotech industry and external environment in progressive ways, for example by making intellectual property assets more accessible for plant breeders around the world. She has spent her career working in various leading organizations in the USA and Europe, and has deep expertise on topics such as open innovation, crop genetic diversity and biotechnology policy. Christine sits on the Governing Board of Young Professionals in Ag Development (YPARD) and was nominated into Ashoka’s inaugural League of Intraprenuers. She holds an MPA with a concentration in Science and Technology Policy from Columbia University, and a BA in Political Science from American University. Her personal interests include architecture, science fiction, electronic music and dancing.
