Scott Fulbright Living Ink
Scott Fulbright is the CEO and Co-founder of Living Ink. Living Ink is a cutting edge biomaterials startup company that transforms algae into eco-friendly printing ink. Algae Ink™ uses entire algae cells as pigments for ink that is biodegradable and renewable. The company is uses synthetic biology to develop cyan, magenta, yellow and black colors for color printing. Currently, the company prints specialty products for customers and also prints on packaging at commercial printers.
Prior to Living Ink, Scott spent the last 12 years in the algae bioproducts industry, where he led research and development projects in both industry and academia. He has a PhD from Colorado State University and a B.S. from Michigan State University.
