Dr. Shieh-Newton is a patent attorney and business advisor with 20 years’ experience providing strategic advice to clients seeking to protect and develop their life sciences innovations. She uses her technical and professional background to identify patentable subject matter, develop and manage patent portfolios, produce competitive landscape analyses, provide freedom-to-operate opinions, and conduct due diligence for financing and acquisition transactions.

Dr. Shieh-Newton has worked with large companies including DuPont Biosciences, Roche, Genentech and Goodyear Rubber & Tire Company, and numerous small companies with early stage investments.
