Thomas Ybert DNA Script

Thomas Ybert is the CEO and co-founder of DNA Script. He holds an engineering degree and a PhD from Ecole Polytechnique. Thomas spent 3 years in the biotechnology department at Sanofi R&D from 2007 to 2010, where he developed a biotherapeutic production platform based on yeast technology. He then joined the division New Energies ofTotal where he contributed to build the bio jet-fuel collaboration between Amyris and Total. As part of the collaboration, Thomas setup the operational part by being the first Total employee to join Amyris in order to develop novel metabolic routes for bio jet-fuel production. After 2 years spent in San Francisco Thomas came back to France to found DNA Script.
