Xavier Duportet Eligo Bioscience

Xavier Duportet is the CEO of Eligo Bioscience, a synthetic biology company combining CRISPR and engineered phages to modulate the microbiome. Eligo was recently selected as one of the 30 most innovative companies worldwide by the World Economic Forum. After his PhD between MIT and INRIA, Xavier was selected as the French Innovator of the Year and MIT TR35 in 2015, a Forbes 30 Under 30 in Science and Healthcare in 2017 and is acting as Senior Advisor on Emerging Technologies for Ministries in France. He is also the founder and president of Hello Tomorrow, a global NGO that identify and helps thousands of early-stage science-entrepreneurs every year.
