Dr. Boddupalli brings to Intrexon over 20 years of experience in agriculture, food, and consumer markets. He is Head of Intrexon’s Food Sector, President of Intrexon Crop Protection, and also leads the Company’s Ag Biotech Division. He has also served as Vice President, Food and Nutrition. Prior to Intrexon, Dr. Boddupalli served as Global Consumer R&D lead for Monsanto Vegetable Seeds Division for nine years. In that capacity, he was responsible for conceptualization and launch of vegetables with consumer appeal. He holds several patents and publications and has held research faculty appointments in biochemistry at the UT Southwestern Medical Center in Dallas, Texas. Dr. Boddupalli holds a Ph.D. in Biochemistry from the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore.
